My name is Jason, and I designed the Omega Dog collar for my wife Hailee’s peace of mind. One evening, after hours of searching for a collar that was both durable and safe, we came up empty. Every option seemed to sacrifice quality or reliability. Frustrated, Hailee looked at me and said, “I bet you could come up with something better.” Three seconds later, the idea was there — it just took a little time (and a lot of testing) to bring it to life.

My ideals have always leaned toward high-quality, long-lasting products. I don’t like waste, and I don’t like replacing things that wear out too quickly. That mindset guides everything I design — I source durable materials and build things to last.

Our 14-year-old Polar is the true test of that philosophy. He’s worn his original collar, one of the first three I ever made over ten years ago. It’s held strong through countless adventures, weather, tumbles in the washer, and time itself. The webbing may have softened, but its structure and safety remain rock solid — and the breakaway function works as well as the day it was made.
